It's the opening night of TARZAN where the audience will experience his world for the first time. Welcome to the jungle! 

• Fall in love with an animal at the adoption event sponsored by Capital Humane Society and then pick it up later at the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center, 6500 S. 70.

• Join the raffle for four-pack admission to Lincoln Children's Zoo

• Take your photo in the jungle

• Play giant Jenga and other games from Raising Cane's

• Work on a jungle puzzle

Pinewood musicals are known for their amazing choreography and staging so it's only fitting that we dedicate one night to celebrating the wonderful world of dance in Lincoln.

• Bring a group from a dance studio and we'll give you a shout-out from stage.

• Learn a routine from TARZAN and dance along during the show.

• Enter a raffle for a $50 gift card from Dancewares

• 8:00pm performance of TARZAN.

In honor of our participation in the summer reading program with the Lincoln City Libraries, we will be hosting a Book Night 

• Bring your own book or check one out from the LCL Bookmobile at the top of the Bowl.

• Hear a story read by one of our fabulous storytellers.

Pinewood Performing Arts loves trees so this night is all about "going green."

• Bring worn-out electronics to recycle with American Recycling.

• Learn about local recycling efforts from the City of Lincoln

  • Jillian Carter - with an array of upcycled clothing

  • Echo Collective - providing opportunities to immigrant and refugee women

Use the time before the show to make your own art! We'll have multiple ways for you to stretch your creative muscles.

• Get creative with Urban Legends Art Studio

• Grab some chalk and decorate the sidewalk

• Take aim with a spray bottle to make abstract art

For the final night of our show, we celebrate the great work being done by other theaters in the area and give you a chance to learn more about the wonderful classes, events and shows they offer.
